We're here to share our own preservation efforts to those who enjoy our industries heritage. We're always looking for old vintage buses, parts and memorabilia to possibly add to our collection, or simply save from the scrap heap by finding a good home to anyone interested in preservation, hence the reason people often call us "the American Bus Pickers. As avid vintage/classic bus enthusiasts and collector of these buses and related items, we have a genuine interest in preserving our transportation heritage. Because of the expense of preserving these old gems, there aren't enough of us out there with the resources to save them all, but it's always a great day to hear when another one is saved! If you find an ole gem worth saving, or at least maybe good for parts to help another preservation project, let us or your nearest transportation museum know. There's many of us out there that love to help network thru others to see as many of these ole gems saved to help preserve our transportation history, and most of us do so without charging for it. We enjoy making the connection knowing we’ve helped someone else as passionate about preservation as we are.

As the curator for this page, (Stan Holter) my primary function in life is managing our charter bus operations (Richfield Bus Company) in Minneapolis, MN of which our parents started service in 1959, providing nationwide charters, tours, and city transit service. My brother Dan is the COO of all three (3) of our companies, and his son Christian also oversees many of our corporate responsibilities and also shares our passions and interests in preservation of our industries history. Dan and son Christian are based in Rochester, MN at our main headquarters of our Rochester City Lines, along with our Heartland Tour and Travel operations headquarters. So our lifelong connection in buses is where our interest and passion generates from to preserve our industries heritage. Our collection includes well over 100 vintage buses of all makes and models, and thanks to our great staff, our endeavors continue on as we follow our passion for keeping our history alive. Though retired now, thanks to our main mechanic of our vintage fleet from our early years forward, Phil Epstein, his knowledge and experience helped us keep our fleet alive and couldn't have be done without people like him who share our passions!

Most all of our collection is available for rental to the film industry and other photography or historical endeavors.

We thank you for your interest!
