I'm an individual... just like everyone else. :)

As far as photography is concerned, I am a TOTAL newbie. I have spent many years with my buddy's film SLR and wanted to invest in one of my own, but could never really justify the cost with film. But since digital is so competitive now, I just invested in a Nikon D80. We'll see how that works out. :)

Other things:

I am married to a beautiful woman who is a teacher of special needs children here in a Texas school district. I could probably fill this entire space with wonderful things about her and still not scratch the surface.

At heart, I am a geek. Currently, I am a Server System Admin for a company here in Dallas and take care of servers and server applications. My job has me travel a bit, so hopefully, I will have opportunities to get photographs from several locations.

You will see in my photographs a picture of my best buddy in the world: Sam, my Golden Retriever. As of this typing, he a 12 years old. He has the soul of a saint, the heart of a lion, and the patience of Job.

I am also very much into music. I played the bass in several bands when i was younger, but pretty much limit my musical experiments now to a 6 string acoustic on my couch... much to the chagrin of my wife, I am sure.
