I lived most of my life in Winnipeg, Canada but I moved to Ottawa, Canada in 2017. Photography and travel are two of my major passions in life and they pair together quite well. I’ve been to over forty-five countries so far, but most of my best photos have been taken around home. I have had photos published in Photolife Magazine, Canadian Geographic, Landscape Photography Magazine, and many other places. In terms of content, I simply gravitate toward what I want to photograph without thinking about it too much; I’m simply trying to create great images. It's mostly landscapes, architecture, and abstracts that you'll find here, and very few have people in the photo. I'm also addicted to infrared photography and always carry a second camera body with me that is converted for infrared. My post-processing is minimal and subtle, and aside from a rare HDR or focus stack, all of my images are a single shot with no "trickery". No layers, time blending, focal length blending, or creating light that wasn't there.
My website is www.burntpixel.ca and I also have a blog which can be found through my website. And if you have a particular interest check out my albums page. Feel free to send me an email at theburntpixel@yahoo.ca!
