I'm an Aircraft Junkie, and I'm one of the guys you see on his ladder at what is now Phoenix-Gateway Airport in Mesa, Arizona Taking pictures of any military aircraft that comes in. I have loved Planes since I was a Kid, and not much has changed in that area. If you ever want a print just let me know, and I will see what I can do. Take care, and I'll see you this weekend; I'll be the one with the red ladder.

I've been shooting with Dave for several months now, and I must say that he's a hell of a guy. He's given me several heads-ups on inbound aircraft that have resulted in some of my favorite shots, and I am incredibly thankful for that. The thing that I think really defines Dave as a photographer is his timing. His camera doesn't have a continuous shooting option, so he's very deliberate with his shots. When you look at Dave's shots, you're not seeing one image he selected from a stream of many to post. You're seeing THE shot. Dave is proof positive that it is not the gear that makes the shot, but the person behind the lens.
