Simce the first day I joined flickr, I have followed your own work. Because you and I see things in the Night similarly, I can relate to your images readily. They look real and unmanipulated. The skies are Night Sky Blue. Your foregrounds are natural color and in your case, beautifully defined with fill lighting. Most importantly, you see visions of relevance and compose them gracefully, and you do not impose yourself except when you are experimenting with the effects of light with an artistic concept and outcome. In other words, you are not changing the reality of Nature, which in this age of digital manipulations and global warming, has become a great concern of mine, and perhaps a serious issue, as Nature is pretty much the only reality upon which we must gauge all things. Well deserved thoughts and most importanly feelings, for you Toby. I have followed you over the last year and the hat keeps coming off again and again. You have shown a continuity of skill and willingness both in your projects and in shareing your knowledge with the likes of me and others. We have followed you on your trips to your beach and have been charged with inspiration in seeing your work. I have found myself ask that question "how" many times and you always find that answer.
