Harvey Brink
Drag to set position!
I have enjoyed photography as a hobby since my late childhood when I would sneak the family's box camera and get in trouble for wasting film (rightly so - and I still do from time to time - the waste film, or pixels, part!).
Artist's Statement
Although one aspect of an entity may be the most prominent, I believe that nothing is truly one-dimensional. Nothing exists in isolation, everything has context and all things are open to interpretation.
Through my lens, as an observer and a collector of imagery, I strive to present a subtle, sometimes exaggerated dimension within my subjects. I do this to depict a unique context, to reveal an interesting relationship or simply to explore my own interpretation of what is there. This discovery of context and perspective is the goal that fuels my passion.

Re: COPYRIGHT - I do not post images that I have not taken or do not own the copyright for. Sometimes I place the copyright notice directly on the photo; other times I do not, if I think it would be too much of a distraction. I am honoured when someone wishes to use one of my photos, however we need to discuss the arrangements for their use. Please do not ask to use my images for commercial purposes without financial reimbursement. If you wish to use my images for a charitable endeavour, please contact me.
