I am 48 years old and a lover of all things art...I tend to gravitate towards photography that happens by luck or happenstance. Not all of the pictures are taken by me. My partner in life of over 20 years has an amazing eye as well and we both have our own cameras so we can both be shooting at the same time. A lot of the macro shots here were done by him. I tend to see things as a whole in a setting.

Setting up a shot is great, but the best shots for me are the ones that happen by pure luck-of-being-in-the-right-place-at-the-right-time. Over thinking a shot can kill the rawness of it. I do love setting up dolls to photograph, though. There is something both charming and alarming about the quiet beauty that lies in unseeing eyes...or maybe they do see more than we realize.
