I'm Mark and I'm a proud Canadian. I truly believe that Canada is the most beautiful country in the world and I'm lucky to live here. I've done some travelling but as they say, there's no place like home.

 

I have been a part of the Flickr community (and it has become a community to me) for a number of years and it continues to be one of my most frequented sites on the web. It isn't perfect but it is enjoyable.

 

My love of photography began as a child and eventually became a career choice. After graduating from college with a Photojournalism degree, I spent time as a freelance photographer covering mainly sporting events. I lost the passion for it and moved to radio broadcasting where I spent almost 13 years as a morning announcer.

 

As I got older I rediscovered my love of having the camera in my hands and capturing everything and everyone around me.

 

I enjoy shooting nature and landscape photos the most right now and am once again making efforts to make photography a higher priority both for fun and financial gains.
