I also like to travel, it’s my beloved hobby. I like to stay in foreign countries for extended periods of time. It’s important to me that I get to see at least a glimpse of the daily lives of the countries I visit. The hotel pool and the two museums just won’t give a realistic picture of anything.

Because of traveling, I have developed an interest in languages. Sometimes I read dictionaries for fun. That sounds sad and it kind of is. But I can’t help it, dictionaries amuse me. My favorite word? Nubloso! It’s Spanish and it means cloudy. Say it with me, nubloso. Doesn’t it sound round, fluffy and nice?

Going to the movies is one of my favorite things to do when I’m not traveling. Well, it’s actually even more interesting abroad. You never know whether you’re going to see a movie in English or dubbed in Turkish. (I’m totally against dubbing, by the way. I want the original experience, whether it be in English, Japanese or Kiswahili.)

One part of me is a total nerd. A book nerd, a computer geek, you name it.
