It is way past time I updated my testimonial for bugalugsrox. Because, he is certainly no longer a beginner in photography, has updated his gear and is now producing even more compelling images, and if you check his photostream you will see photographic evidence that he is way beyond a "pretty handy lawn bowler". One of the many things that impresses me about bugalugsrox is the thought, time, and creativity that goes into his shots. I know from our discussions that some of his shots he plans for a long time, weighing up options in his mind and waiting for the right conditions. He gives his art respect and attention, and the results are always first rate, often brilliant. There is a good variety in his photostream, people in action, portraits, animals, architecture, macros, landscapes etc; it's a very enjoyable experience just to flick through his shots, time and time again. I think one of his greatest gifts is his ability to capture both great colour and a feeling of story in his images. I'm very glad that bugalugsrox is one of my best flickr contacts, and I'm also happy to say that he is a great friend of mine. Even though he is now a very accomplished lawn bowler, if you ever meet him on a slower green - play a short end and force him on the backhand.

The time has come to write this testimony for Mr. B. He is a master photographer and a purist. His photo stream contains some of the best textbook shots around. For the observant person, there are visual lessons, in shooting natural light, composition, perspective, and filling the frame. Even though Heath is a purist, he always manifests an interest in other's work, even if it is not his style. His comments always leave you feeling upbuilt and ready to shoot again.
