I explore the theme of nostalgia by creating work that allows the viewer to return to a state of innocence. With my paintings and drawings, I strip away the obligations and the mundane from the viewer’s life if only just for a moment. Currently this is achieved by recalling whimsical pastimes throughout the ages as my subject matter.
