Hi, I am Hilke, also known as Büchertiger (i.e. book tiger), maker and lover of books. By training I am a mathematician, but have been an artist for long.

Since more than a decade I am binding blank pages to make journals and notebooks. Since 2008 I have been working fully dedicated with books and have been making book art since then.

I love to experiment with paper, colors and bindings and try to give a modern and clever turn to traditional styles.
