ponder once & a while

I'm fairly new to the world of photography and am merely a curious fellow striving to capture, to the best of my ability, the beauties and wonders of the world around me - to find the elegance emerging in the everyday and the outstanding originality of the ordinary.

An engineer by trade, the world of photography opens a much needed creative outlet not ruled (explicitly at least) by formulas, tables, and postulates. What I see here on Flickr: the creativity, originality, kindness and cleverness, astounds me each and every day.

There will be times when you will be in the field without a camera. And, you will see the most glorious sunset or the most beautiful scene that you have ever witnessed. Don't be bitter because you can't record it. Sit down, drink it in, and enjoy it for what it is
