Hello! I'm a digital artist who creates compositions on computer where often times I feature my photography and/or parts of photography. I'm in an endless, passionate love affair with color, shape and texture! The result:

Importantly, I'm extremely fond of the Central Coast of California where most of my photography is born. I have lived here for over 25 years.

I'm a spiritual sort who believes that art is anything that moves the soul to create what is genuinely experienced. I rarely create art without listening to music, so each piece I revisit triggers that special song in my head that makes it even more enjoyable and personal.

Because I'm also Reiki certified I approach my art pretty similar to how I practice Reiki...As we all are...I am a divine instrument of a higher power, a vessel of light, learning and healing that can hopefully impact others. Importantly I have learned that Art Heals. I'm definitely a promoter of creative energy as a source of healing. In fact, I intend to build a Reiki Healing Art Center one day. Professionally I started putting my art out there for exposure in 2002 when I produced my own television show on local public access cable TV called "Dare to go Digital with Brenda Starr". My work was pretty raw back then. It was done in an art slideshow format...and the experience was great because it taught me that many different types of people appreciated my style of self expression.

These days I'm selling my original designs, many of which are featured here on the flickr site, in various formats including tiles, tile murals, on Giclee' canvas and currently most popular - on bold, glossy metal.
