Hello and thanks for taking time to view some of my images and my profile.

I'm a keen photographer based in Edinburgh, Scotland. I am now 40 something but have been interested in photography since high school. My first SLR camera was a Fuji STX-1, I think it cost £53 and I paid it back to my father by doing a paper round. I had a couple of cameras after that , a second hand Canon AE1 programme and then a Minolta Dynax, that was my first autofocus SLR.

Marriage and children were now on the scene and photography took a major backseat. A couple of years ago I was on holiday and was looking for something to read. I picked a photography magazine and the flame was ignited once more.

I now use a canon 400d, tempted to upgrade...yes,but I've resisted its now my friend and I have printed up to A1 size prints with quality results!

Canon shutter release

Cokin filter holder

Hitech 100 ND Grads

0.3ND, 0.45ND, 0.6ND and 0.9ND

Most of my photography is around Edinburgh or the Western Isles of Scotland, my favourite place. All images are what I see in camera and slight adjustments are made afterwards to bring the image to what the colours were at the time of capture. They are then resized and sharpened for display on the web.
