I am an amateur, mostly self-taught who took up photography as a hobby when I retired. The subject matter that I shoot has changed several times, but currently I am in love with black and white images. I live with my wife in the little town of Stanley, Virginia in the lovely Shenandoah Valley. Other than photography, I enjoy baseball, music (classical and classic rock) history, science, travel, good food.
