Scouting with Troop #179 is a boy-led program for youth ages 11-17. It is designed to teach self-confidence, respect for each other and the environment, and leadership skills. Even youth with busy academic and other extracurricular schedules fit scouting into their lives. Back packing, rock climbing sailing and biking are just some of the many activities that make scouting with Troop #179 an easy fit!

We meet once a week and go camping once a month, year-round.
