How do you describe a lovely person like Jan (Brynmeillion to her Flickr friends) ? Well first she is generous, always with a kind thought for her friends, but also a very sensitive observer and preserver of her world and its many inhabitants. Through her pictures I have come to know a part of the world I have never seen, but would now LOVE to visit! Jan is just the sort of friend you would call if you were feeling low and needed a cup of tea and a bushel of caring loving friendship. I only wish we lived closer!

Family life is also reflected in Jan’s photos as are touching tributes to other loved ones. A truly kind and generous person who takes awesomely good photographs but always takes the time to visit other peoples' photostreams and make sincere and positive comments about their work. She is someone who is happy being who she is and loves her family, her country and her photography. She also has a great sense of humour which is very much appreciated on Flickr. You only have to look at the huge numbers of comments she receives whenever she posts to see that all her "fans" really appreciate her. I think she must be one of the most "liked" people on Flickr - so don't ever change Jan, we like you just as you are. PS Jan - I actually think you owe me the £100....LOL
