I've only known Bryan since I discovered the NZFM group early 2008 but in that short time I've found him to be the real deal. A pro photog who is passionate about his craft and yet very willing to help out us amateurs who aspire to be half as good as he is some day. I've been fortunate to help Bryan out on one of his shoots and I was amazed at the amount of thought and effort that's put into each and every shot. It was a very learing experience for me. Bryan has also been very supportive of my efforts to improve and has never hesitated to share his skill and experience when asked. A thorough gentleman if ever there was one and IMO his photos speak volumes about his eye for composition and skill to capture the emotion and essence if any scene.

What can i say about Bryan? Well for one I HATE him..... actually, I dont. He is the inspiration to why I am here. Met him firstly through the NZFM group which he admins.. he made the FATAL mistake of making me an admin also.. now he cant get rid of me..heheh. I have the UTMOST respect for him as a person, a friend and as an artist. He is constantly backing me up and encouraging me to be the person I strive to be, and picks me up when I doubt myself. Bryan is one of my inspirations in Flickr. He was "a NZ photographer that had amazing images". But hey, he also replied to my comments, and commented on my images, and was friendly, and willing to give tips. If you're starting around here, you know how rare this can be. Not only he is talented, but he is passionate about what he does. Passionate to the point to work full time on what he likes and still have time to give back to the community, creating and maintaining one of the most active NZ based groups in Flickr. And as time goes by, Bryan became one of the friends that I created on Flickr. Nice to know you man! Keep doing that thing you do, to pharaphrase The Wonders... :-D
