To put it simply, Bruce is a living legend. Creator of the Lowell Sphere and a master of shaping, colour, and presentation, Bruce is one of the best builders around. Not only that, but he's also a great guy who can inspire others with a single comment. Hat's off to him.

Out of all the awesome things I've seen people build on here, Bruceywan here has some of the most amazing. Many of them appear real at first glance, and are they are simply stunning.

Of the many AFOLs who use the LEGO® toy as a medium for replicating real objects, Bruce Lowell is one of the greatest; each of his models is an incredible example of both realism (in capturing his chosen subject) and inspiration (in stretching the LEGO system to achieve his creative goals). What can’t he build?
