○ This has really become more a family photo site since I had grandchildren with some released for public viewing :-))

Oh well, it's more fun than pretending I'm going to be a professional photographer when I get older :-O

but at own pace :-))

• RE: My "contacts". I have "contact" contacts whom I consider "friends & almost family even". I also have "family" contacts which simply get to see my more boring photos BUT also many more of my grandchildren. You know... the kind where it's nearly the same photo but you just can't delete it :-)). Or the ones you know aren't artistic or different, but YOU like :-)) Anyway, I reserve the "friends" designation for large gatherings where the photos would be repetitious such as weddings or parties that would only be of interest to a specific audience of friends & family and probably for a brief period of time.

• So please take no offense if your listed as contact instead of friend.

Live well, laugh often, love passionately, Bruce

PS:-) It may take me awhile to respond in-kind when made a contact. Please do not be offended. I spend time on viewing my contacts images, and don't take the responsibility lightly. So please be patient with me :-D

It can be months before I can reciprocate a contact.

Bruce is the ideal Flickr member. His photos are beautiful, composed in an intriguing way and edited just right for each shot. Bruce never spams your comments or your inbox, highly suggesting that you take a look at his latest uploads. He's not the type of guy to dump his photos into all available group pools just for a comment. Rather, Bruce prefers to build relationships on Flickr and allow those who truly care to discover and comment his photography. (And it works!) He understands that Flickr is not just about adding your photo to every possible group to get more views or collecting hundreds of contacts so they will notice your work. He manages his number of contacts (which in my opinion makes him more genuine), leaves helpful/positive feedback and, most obviously, takes great photos himself! That's why Bruce is an ideal Flickr member.
