"Photography is nothing, it's life that interests me." Henri Cartier Bresson
Passion is defined as " a dedication or strong desire for some activity, object or concept". It's an insatiable thirst.
My photography reflects my deep interest and love of people. My images tend to have people as the primary subject matter
I will occasionally photograph a landscape, cityscape or nature image if it intrigues me visually.
I pursue my photographic passion by interacting with people in the pursuit of their passions.
I strive to capture the enormous energy levels present when people are engaged in their passion.
I am interested in learning about the struggles they endured to achieve their goals.
I seek to document the long grueling hours of practice endured by athletics, dancers and
musicians not seen by the general audience.
I am primarily an action photographer which requires that I interact with people who are running, dancing, playing,
singing, swimming, working or moving in some manner. Movement is often either actual or implied in my photographs.
I am also drawn to the events people participate in for fun, social statements, ethnic pride, etc.
I endeavor to connect with the people I photograph. I am interested in them as a person as well as a photographic subject.
My greatest joy comes from being present when my subjects first view the photographs produced from our collaboration.
