Brød & Taylor founder Michael Taylor is an inventor, engineer and lifelong bread maker. Baking in home kitchens from Northern California to New England he searched constantly for a convenient and repeatable method for rising yeast bread dough. Inspired by the enthusiastic reception of a folding bread proofer made as a gift to his Norwegian mother-in-law for her small South Dakota kitchen, he started the process of developing an affordable, world-class folding proofer.
