I first meet Britta in Italy while studing in 1997. We had to share an unbrella in the rain while it was poring out and a group of us were walking to a bar. On our 20 min walk I don't think she stopped talking one. But she had such a great outlook on the world around her -- we because friends on the trip and found ourself many a day getting lost in the streets photographing the details that came upon us.
