About the British Stand-Up Comedy Archive

The British Stand-Up Comedy Archive was established at the University of Kent in 2013 to celebrate, preserve, and provide access to archives and records relating to British stand-up comedy and comedians. Our flickr page shows a sample of the material within our collections.

Copyright and take-down

All reasonable effort is made by the British Stand-Up Comedy Archive to obtain copyright holders' consent before making material available via our flickr account. We would like to ask that any copyright owners who are not properly identified contact us so that we may make the necessary corrections or removals.

If you have cause for complaint about material made available online, please email standup@kent.ac.uk and include the following details:

•the title/reference and URL of the image your complaint refers to.

•the details of your complaint.

•your name, email address and telephone number

On receipt of a request to takedown material from our websites, the British Stand-Up Comedy Archive will immediately remove the material in question whilst the complaint is reviewed.
