In a former life i was an IT guy...with a camera. Now i just have a camera.
I'm trying to get out of the mindset of focusing on the finished product and get as much out of the ride as i would looking at the end result.
I really admire the patience of anyone using film. You have far more commitment (at this stage) to your art than me. Call me modern, but not knowing the results until much later sounds like a very intriguing concept indeed. Still, not one I'm ready to indulge in just yet.
My Gear:
I recently upgraded from a Canon 350D to a 5D Mk II and quite frankly haven't looked back.
Lenses:
Canon 35mm f1.4 (Schweeeeeet)
Canon 100mm Macro (Schweeeeeet)
Canon 24-105mm (Wish it were schweeter)
Both schweeet lenses are worth their weight in glass and i can't recommend them highly enough.
I also have a Canon 70-300mm telephoto that hardly ever sees the light of day.
I still use photoshop. I wish all my shots were good enough that i didn't have to.
