As a teenager I bought a Halina 35mm compact then a Zenit and got quite into taking photos - though it was too expensive to do much out of my pocket money!
Later I had a Pentax meSuper then an Olympus XA for years, but only really for holiday photos.
Then at the beginning of January 2010, I got my first digital camera and first computer, . I discovered I could take as many as I wanted. This was particluarly handy as most of my photos are taken with my kids in tow, and they don't give you much time to compose!
Then I discovered my computer had "F-Spot" editing allowing me to crop and recolour, making up for all the defencies of my quick snaps.
In 2011 I learnt how to post them all onto flickr, so on when 500 at once before I realised that wasn't the way to do it - thanks to lomokev.
And now my computer won't work properly and I can't put photos on from my camera anymore.
Friends have often complemented me, and now I seem to be taking the uncharacteristic step of promoting myself.
I don't earn much and have a family to support, but at some point I hope to get a Digital SLR, and a fully working computer, with photoshop.
