An inspiring, charming and unique space in the Thomas Briggs Building - an old Victorian fabric warehouse next to the canal in east London, N1. Currently an established working music studio and location available for photographic, filming and private event hire.

The Briggs is a large, predominantly open plan space set over two floors, with lots of natural light throughout (sunlight if we are lucky with the weather!), wooden beams and floors, exposed brick walls, a floating staircase and oodles of character and shabby chic charm.

The top floor - or loft, is in the apex of the roof with wooden beams and floors and a unique, large round window looking down the canal towards Islington.

There is also a retro-classic inspired bathroom upstairs with a red roll-top bath, mosaic, black and white chequered floor, wooden beams and exposed brickwalls.

To name but a few - the space has been used to shoot for Vogue Italia, FHM, Grazia, Samsung, TMobile, Sony Music, Toast of London (BBC), Satchi&Satchi, ITV. Recent events here include Boiler Room, Supperclub (pop up restaurant) and the Pretty Green loft party, and various showcases.

The high spec music suite (situated downstairs) is fully equipped with an impressive array of vintage and analogue synthesizers and is used for both music and film (sound design and foley) projects. This room is perfect for recording, editing, mastering and post production and with an experienced engineer or producer on site.

There is a baby grand piano, a vintage Rhodes piano and a P.A available for event use, and other musical equipment/lighting and vintage props available on request.
