Tony and George. We are a father and son who share a love of natural history. We use the challenge of photography in the countryside (rather than paid hides and parks etc) as a way to increase our understanding of the natural world around us. We often take trips together, swapping turns with the cameras, binoculars etc. We use Nikon gear, currently Z9, D500 and Z6 II cameras fitted with 600mm f4.0, 180-600mm f5.6-6.3 or 200-500mm f5.6 lenses for the majority of shots. (Plus tele converters other lenses such as macro and a drone)

Our 'Local Patch' would be Chew Valley Lake, the Mendip hills and Somerset Levels.
