Semi retired CPA, financial executive, and entrepreneur. During the 1990's I founded a Macintosh only computer store in Southern California, which I operated for 10 years. I have had three times in my life when photography was high on my list of interests. When I was a teenager in Los Angeles I had a Yashica reflex camera, and enjoyed taking photos with my high school friends. When I was working in public accounting I had a one year stint at the NYC office of a national CPA firm where I became very interested in 35mm photography. I had a Miranda camera, and even had a small darkroom in my apartment. I spent lots of time shooting the NYC skyline, Central Park, and my young son. My third period started in the late 1990's when digital began to take hold. I have been obsessed ever since. I like to think of myself as a "Technographer" not a photographer. I consider photographers to be artists, which I am not. I love playing with the equipment, trying to get things technically correct, and hopefully, with luck getting an interesting photo.
