I know Brian first as a friend, then as a photographer. And it has been interesting getting to know him better through his photography. I think it is his innovation that I have seen in his images that has surprised me most. Everything else about his photography I have seen in other aspects of his life. The passion of his interests is evident by the depth to which he seeks to learn about them. His attention to detail, which I see in everything he does, allows him to capture in his camera the idea he holds in his mind. His willingness to share his knowledge knows no bounds; he is there for you and all your questions. His desire to promote the art of photography he does unselfishly by promoting and encouraging artists of all walks of life. Brian’s images are full of colour, life and optimism which reflect his approach to life, his sense of humour and his ready smile. When I see his photographs, I keep wondering how he will outdo this one, but he always manages it. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Brian Carey, Fine Art Photographer.
