I photograph not to impress or compete, but to see: to uncover the dignity of solitude, the weight of history, and the beauty of restraint. Whether the subject is a flower, a ruin, a portrait, or a fleeting juxtaposition in the street, I let the image decide what it needs to be: colour, monochrome, or something stranger. My work moves between realism and imagination, but always begins with observation: the recognition of light, pattern, and mood. I take photographs for myself, to give shape to what I notice and what I feel. If others find meaning in them, that is enough.
