Brian Holsclaw | Bird & Nature Photographer | Based in Seattle, WA

I’m a bird and landscape photographer based in Seattle, with a deep love for the wild spaces of the Pacific Northwest.

My work focuses on the diverse habitats of Washington — from coastal shorelines and temperate rainforests to alpine meadows, ponderosa pine woodlands, and the wide-open sagebrush steppe. Most of my images come from hiking, birding, and camping across the region in my camper van, with my camera always close at hand.

While I’ve traveled extensively around the world, I’m increasingly drawn to naturalist and birding adventures — both here at home and abroad. I use Sony’s full-frame system and specialize in photographing sweeping landscapes and birds in their environments.
