I am very new to photography, after getting the Lumix FZ18 in July 2008. I learned some theory when I co-translated into Chinese in the late 80s some text books by "New York Institute of Photography" (got the national best seller award from "China Press of Photographers"). You can see that most of my photos do not have any special effects. I just used Picassa to crop / adjust the exposure if needed. I'd love to learn practical skills from you, and hopefully make some friends here.
I grew up in Beijing, and have studied /worked in China, Italy, US and now in Toronto, Canada. Work and travel keep me very busy so I may not be able to check out this site as often as I wish. Thank you for your comments and encouragements!
