I decided to join up here to share my pics with friends/family and the wider community. I've been a keen amateur (definitely not a pro!!) since getting a Coolpix 995 for my 21st, but I'm always looking to improve my skills. For that reason, any feedback is more than welcome!

I've recently upgraded to a D80 which is fantastic. The low light performance and ability to get the shots I want via zoom has been great. Current equipment:

Nikon 18-70 DX (superb)

Nikon 70-300 VR (sensational!)

Nikon SB-800

and a few other bits and pieces

My main subjects to shoot are wildlife and aircraft. For that reason I'd love a nice fast zoom lens, but sadly the finances won't stretch that far - donations more than welcome! :) I guess I didn't really need to say what I mainly shoot...it's pretty obvious when you view my photos!
