My name is Brenda and I own Brenda's Cakes in West Jefferson, Ohio. Originally from Michigan, we moved here about four years ago for my husband's job. I've been married to my wonderful husband, Arnie, for 15 years. We have two beautiful daughters....Tessa is 18 and is in the military, Chelsey is 17 and is a senior in high school, preparing for college next year. I also have a stepdaughter, Anna, who lives in Florida and has given us three beautiful grandchildren!

Although custom cakes is my main business, I've lately fallen into an obsession with cookie making! I seem unable to stop myself from making more...and more....and more! :) But I'm enjoying it alot, and I think it's getting me out of the cake slump I was in.

My friend Diane introduced me to Flickr and I am just awed and amazed at all of the talent out there! I spend more time than I care to admit looking through the endless pictures of gorgeous cookies, cake and cupcakes!

On a personal note, we're a very active family. My hobbies include yoga, hiking, bicycling, and jogging, all of which my hubby does with me. I also love paper crafting. My hubby and I love to travel and have totally fallen in love with Tennessee, where we hope to move some day!
