My current edition, "Be Careful" started with a friend of mine who I felt needed to know about letting the right people and things into their life at the right time; based on personal experience. At certain times of life, we welcome different aspects of life without assessing whether or not they are qualified to be there. We fight against God’s time schedule. We allow certain things to come, and when they do there’s a definite illusory contentment…and in this project I chose to use the subject of ‘love’ as an example of things we allow to overtake our personal principles.

Love has a way forcing itself in with partial assistance from us. Sometimes it seems right when it might not actually be right to feel for whoever it is. To young people especially, we allow this whole new phase into our lives without thinking about the fact that maybe it’s not a question about the right and wrong to fall in love BUT rather asking the person within whether it’s "too early" or "right."

Secondly we welcome so many things for the wrong reasons. In love, some go for the wrong reasons; popularity, beauty, lust, money, etc. Some go into love thinking it’s something measurable, when in fact it’s beyond measurability. It’s meant to be ‘unconditional’- comparable to belief in God. In actual fact, you could say that when you are asked to give a reason about why you love a person or thing, the answer should be difficult for you to state. My work tries to portray the fact that love is indescribable...in order to say that, in choices, we simply have to be careful!

Love is not the only thing we entice without being careful. The best thing you could do is to ask for God’s guidance in everything. Without this we face unnecessary consequences just because we were not careful. BE C-A-R-E-F-U-L!
