She was a hentai girl. Not many people knew that, and she didn't tell the ones who looked, squinty and dour, at her short skirt and huge eyes.
Witty and talented, brendadada's one of flickr's best. She's one of the reasons I've hung around here so long. And if this is a wee bit gushing, I hope she'll excuse me. I'm writing this at crack of dawn, and trying to make up for not being a morning person.
An inspiration......and a damn good photographer.......and a lovely lady.
Brendadada's work has developed and changed in her time on Flickr, growing stronger and stronger as she develops her artistic eye. For some reason she keeps pruning her photostream, but no matter - the latest will always be good.
End Da Bren Aaa And Dad Doesn't matter how you look at it BDD has some of the best photos on flickr BDD is one of the most intriguing people in real life oh and BDD is an airport on Badu Island All true
EVERYONE loves Brendadada. Why? Because she has 'Dada' after her name; Because she is generous with advice (but not over-bearing; Because she is witty (but at the same time serious); Because she is a good drinker (But won't steal yours); She is a great photographer and is a founder member of Popolo.
I think that the thing that hits me, between my metaphorical eyes, when I see Bren's stream is a (highly emotional, and frankly painful to put into words): "Where the fuck have you been?"
bren-dadadadada! likes looking through a lense-dadadadada! got lots of flickr friends-dadadadada! and writes stuff with pens-dadadadada! bren-dadadadada!!! (insert rock guitar riff here) (repeat to fade)
Yeh. She's alright, like.
She's the dog's bollocks.
Hey my Muse, thank you for your art and appreciation of it. .....and all that color ;-}
can't believe I've not yet written a testimonial for bdadada, because she's one of the reasons I love flickr so much. She's singlehandedly got me into film with her evangelising ways - each of those 13 or so film cameras cluttering up my living room and draining my bank balance are *all her fault* - and the projects s… Read more

I sometimes, just sit there, gazing at some of those "blast beach" photo's and imagine how good a feeling I'd get if I'd taken those... Thanks for being northern and talented, there's not many of us around (who get the attention I mean).
Yanno.. a lot of people here are weiners. Brenda is not. Most definitely NOT. Is that a compliment? In the circles I run in, YES, it is. She is the Queen of Film and is delightful to discuss said film with. And can hurl a haggis like no one else. Did I say yet that I really like her? I do, and it ain't cause of the h… Read more

Read lessBrendada, a true Angel of the North; a fantastic photographer a proud exponant of film; a cornerstone of the North East England Flickr scene. Willing to take risks, so what if b&w xpro dutch angle is the spawn of satan.
Brendadada is one of life's tryers - bless her, she puts her heart and soul into this but so often gets it all hopelessly, hilariously wrong... there are the blurry ones (which she pretends are some kind of arty, japanese thing called bukkake or somesuch), the ones of people's ankles or bits of floor- recently she t… Read more
Brendadada is one of life's tryers - bless her, she puts her heart and soul into this but so often gets it all hopelessly, hilariously wrong... there are the blurry ones (which she pretends are some kind of arty, japanese thing called bukkake or somesuch), the ones of people's ankles or bits of floor- recently she tried to convince me that one of the wonkiest pics I've ever seen in my life was done deliberately like that! (she does make up entertaning stories to mask her incompetence - something about a Dutch Angel?)...and then there is the whole "cross-processing" thing - putting the wrong film into the wrong camera, I call it... So: Brendadada - incompetence, comedy and cameras, all in perfect alignment...
Read lessb-dada is one of the first people on flickr who really supported my work and made me feel good about it. She has a knack for knowing how to say the right things, balancing criticism with encouragement. Not only that but she has some fine offerings in her photostream.

Brendadada is one of the finest photographers on Flickr. Her work has that rare ability to transcend photography, challenge the entire genre and emerge through fire as art -- art to make you laugh, art to make you cry, but most importantly art to make you think. Her particular strength is in photographing legs. Another thing about Frank, is that his art is unique, it's not your typical sunset or flower but rather provacative photography to challenge our new digital generation. I most heartilly endorse the work of Brendadada.
Read lessbrenda has a totally different photostream that shows her versatility and unique outlook on the world - great fun!
She took me in when I was thrown out on the streets by the orphanage. She clothed me, fed me, educated me and then sold me to the highest bidder. Without brendadada, my life would have been in ruins, but thanks to her it has been happy, filled with love and just the right amount of sexual intrigue.
Simply put, I just find Brendada's truly inspirational. Her images always seem to not only catch the visual appeal of a moment but also teh attached emotions. I'm proud to have her as a friend and contact.
I thought cross processing was something you did when you were in a bad mood until I discovered brendadada
Maybe it's because I can hear the voices of the people in her photos. Maybe it's because I can smell the North Sea. Maybe it's because I can see myself kicking a football down the streets. Maybe it's because the pictures evoke so many strong feelings in me. Or maybe it's because she embodies the notion that people who … Read more

brendadada takes a great photo. but even more -- she makes a community that much better. quick to laugh, quick to share, she's just someone you want on your side. cuz you know, even if worse came to worse, you'd have a good time.
Not only does Brendadada take fine pictures, she knows how to present them in a very satisfying manner. Her swing bridge slideshow two set is, indeed, a labor of love, one that required 67 shots. Not only does Brendadada take fine pictures, she knows how to present them in a very satisfying manner. Her swing bridge slideshow two set is, indeed, a labor of love, one that required 67 shots. It’s well worth the price of admission. I would suggest you avoid her magnificent food mosaic entirely … that is, until after you’ve had a good meal, at least half as sumptious as the one she offers us. And even then, your saliva glands could play some tricks on you. But beyond the wonderful studies that her photos provide, Brendadada also has a keen interest in what goes on around in her “village” world, as well as the political and social life of the world at large. Considering the time that Brendadada needs to spend managing her own affairs, she has very often taken me by the hand to lead me through the Flickr thicket, to send me invites, to point out groups that may be of interest to me. I am in her debt, and I would hazard a guess that so are many of her colleagues and friends. Brendadada’s “village” on Flickr is always a pleasure to visit.
