A novice who is slowly realizing that a new hobby can turn into a serious obsession.

I just started on September of 2011 when I bought my first DSLR, a Nikon D5100. After a couple of months, shooting several hundred photos, I decided to be a bit more serious about photography and upgraded to a D7000.

I love everything about photography. I love learning about the gear, poring over photos, working in the digital darkroom, and of course, just picking up my camera and shooting anything and everything I find interesting.

I find Flickr to be an invaluable source of inspiration - often finding myself extremely motivated to go out and shoot, after viewing some of the amazing work of other members on the site.

Please feel free to comment/critique/make suggestions about my photos. I've much to learn and would appreciate your insight on how I can further improve my skills, whether in photography or post-processing.
