BreeceArt, :) Attempting a slow return..
Drag to set position!
To those of you on Flickr that are respectful and considerate I thank you very much.
Don't really like to start my profile this way however some people have been faving my images and don't have anything visible in their stream.
Below are boundaries that I will put into effect if :
If you fave one of my images and don't have a visible stream then I will block you and delete the one you faved.
Also if an image is worth faving for you please leave a comment other wise I will block you from any further faving and delete the one you faved from your favorites.
If you invite an image to a private pool and I can't view the pool then I will refuse the invite.
If you have the grey buddy icon and only a couple of things in your stream I will block you.
You might want to be considerate and ask before making me a contact.
For the rest of you great Flickr people please read on.
It seems like the time to put something in words here about me. I have added several of you as contacts and some favorites and some have added me as a contact.
So it looks like time to let you “all” know a little more about me. How is the you “all “ for a starter. Yes, I am from a river town in southern Ohio, just across the river from Kentucky.
We tend to speak a little differently than the rest of the US.
“Down” here we wait “on” not for an elevator.
We like our coffee to go with cream and sugar and with a “lid” on the cup, not a cover. A cover is what people wrap themselves with when it is cold.
When I put a dollar in a machine with little buttons and lights I get a “pop” not a soda from the machine.
When we say it is a “fur piece” down the road we are referring to somewhere between 5 to 10 miles away, not something that used to be a part of an animal’s anatomy.
Hopefully by this time you have a smile on your face.
I will stop the geography and social lessons for this area now.
When I was 16 years old I won my first camera, in a store Grand Opening drawing. From that point on to the present day at age 60 photography has been an avid interest and study for me.
I was fortunate enough to go to college for awhile and then move on to a photography school in New York City and later back to college to finish a fine arts degree.
Photography and graphic design are not my life however they play a big part in my life.
I communicate a lot of my feelings and moods in my images. If they look dark, then usually I am going through a dark period in my own life or am coming out of one.
If they show happy, sad or anything in between, guess what, yes, I am feeling that way or coming out of feeling that way.
For those who need to know: I have had works published on the local level, state level, national level and international level.
I have work exhibited online with Upstream People Gallery and have exhibited in Creme of the Crop Events.
I am currently working on images for a cream of the crop exhibit at a museum and also working on a book called “Images of Addiction”. The image “Innocense Lost” is one from the series and when the final images are decided on for the book I will post them here for all to see.
Instead of going further into an ego list, if you want to know more specifics feel free to mail me and I will give you the specifics of publications etc.
I am retired and continue to do photography that interests me as well as graphic design. I keep somewhat active with doing model portfolios and unusual portraits and if you hadn’t noticed as yet, flowers and females are my favorite subjects, not necessarily in that order though, smile.
Some of what I do now is viewable on my photo stream. Feel free to browse and enjoy, feel free to leave a comment if you are so led to do and feel free to Flickr mail me.
All works in my photo stream are copyrighted by Breece McClure aka breeceart and may not be reproduced by any means or used in anything without prior written approval by me.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy your voyeurism today.
