Blue Ridge Country magazine is produced by Leisure Publishing Company, based in Roanoke, Va., publisher of The Roanoker (the longest running city magazine in Virginia), Mountain Homes magazine and annual visitor/newcomer guides. Leisure Publishing is the official publisher of the Virginia Tourism Corporation.

Our mission is to celebrate, document, preserve and inform readers about travel, outdoor recreation, history, environmental issues, festivals, food, culture and more in the mountains of nine southern states.

We are a bimonthly magazine with a readership of 425,000. BRC has won awards at the state, national and international levels. Its content is a combination of work by staff and freelancers, and it recently celebrated its 20th anniversary.
