I work in many mediums which include; oils, acrylics, watercolor, pastels, charcoal, pen & ink, pencil, pencil color, oil pastels, clay, and paper mache'.

My works include portraits, landscapes, still life, floral, abstract, fantasy art, clay sculpture, and paper mache' masks.

My artistic imagination is reflected by the use of strong color and content in my art.

Artist Statement

I grew up in Southern Louisiana which influences my use of bright colors as did the Mexican cultrure when I came to San Antonio, TX. When just out of high school I traveled all over the United States and parts of Mexico. I found the charm of San Antonio so compelling that it became my home for over thirty years.

My experience as a working artist started early. I began carrying a sketch pad everywhere with me as a child. I drew or painted everyday. Most of the techniques I use are self taught with lots of ongoing practice.

My uncontrollable seizures make me work and think in a very illogical way and sometimes influences my works as well as my daily life. My hope is that my art is always evolving. Art is in every part of my life.
