Hi, thanks for stopping by to look at my photographs.

I have always had a keen appreciation for photography but only recently took it up as a hobby, I am thoroughly enjoying the experience of it all.

I live on a rural property located in Central Queensland Australia, about 40 minutes drive north of Rockhampton (known as the 'Beef Capital of Australia'). As I write this introduction the country is in drought, yet even during harsh times as these the beauty still abounds, the wildlife is plentiful, the sunrises, sunsets and the stars are brilliant.

I am keen to develop my photography skills, I'm currently working with the subjects that are available to me at this time, mainly being wildlife, landscapes and astrophotography.

I look forward to moving into portrait photography in the not too distant future hopefully, it holds a special place in my heart as my late father was a well-respected professional portrait photographer. He passed away when I was a quite young so unfortunately I never had the opportunity of his guidance. This photographic journey I have embarked on now gives me an even greater appreciation of his skills and a feeling of closeness to him.
