Hi there! I am a stay-at-home-mom living in Seattle who is enjoying dragging my toddler all over the Puget Sound in search of the perfect vintage bits and pieces for my creations. She has been rolling around in shopping carts with me since she was born and is actually a very good shopper now. I can almost always bribe her to behave with the promise of beads or craft supplies. She's also the only toddler I've ever heard of who's first words included "Another tiara mommy? Really?"
My business was born out of my love affair with weddings. I started reading wedding magazines while I was still in high school - possibly earlier? - and had far too much fun planning my own wedding in 2005. When I decided to leave my corporate job to stay home with my daughter, I quickly discovered that I would need something creative to do in between diaper changes and feedings. The light bulb went on and Brass Paperclip was born.
Why Brass Paperclip? I have always liked to use brass paperclips to hold my papers together when submitting papers for work or school - they just seem more elegant to me than the regular ones and I always felt like they made my work stand out from the crowd. It is my sincere hope that my work is still being viewed that way...elegant and standing out from the crowd.
Also exciting is my commitment to sustainability. I was recently approved as a Green Bride vendor based on my eco-chic products and environmentally friendly business practices. For more information please click the button below:
