June 2018 I purchased a new Olympus EM-5 mark ii along with 25mm, 60mm macro, and 75-300mm. I'm also using older 4/3 14-54 mark ii with mmf-3 adapter. Previously used Olympus E-420, E-510, 5060, and small Canon digital camera. Used Canon A1 film camera in 80s and 90s. I enjoy "trying" to identify the plants and animals that I post on Flickr. However, I do not collect and examine them closely. I do use Bugguide.net, local species lists and photos not uploaded of the same subject to get the best guess. If totally unlikely, I provide only genus or hopefully rarely only family. Don't be shy about providing a better ID, since I'm not an expert. I range from Des Moines to North Bend, Kent to north Seattle.
