I got back into SLR photography in April 2008 after drifting away from it for a while, and jumped right in with a digital SLR. It is so kewl to shoot digital - especially no more missed shots while reloading film!

Mainly, I shoot subjects that are related to fire and emergency services, mostly because I'm a former firefighter/EMT (1986-2001). Although I've been using the wild rabbits that are almost always in my yard as subjects to help me "get my legs back" and shake off the rust on my skills.

Given my primary subject matter, I contribute a good bit of the photos I take to Fire in the Hole Photography, which is a website that features fire and other emergency services.
