I started getting interested in photography while I was in Pakistan for the 2005 earthquake relief. It was just something to keep myself busy while being confined to a small camp. In March 2006 I got my first DSLR, the Olympus E-500, and the passion took hold. A few months later I was asked to take a photo of someone with their 20d and I knew I had to get a Canon. Now I'm using a 30d and I'm glad I changed. Not that the camera has much to do with the art in photography, it just felt better in my hands, and the viewfinder was so much bigger and brighter. Maybe it gave me a little more confidence also... Now everyone around me knows me as "the photographer" and I get asked for my photos regularly (another confidence booster). I have learned a lot through flickr and many other web sites as well as experimentation and I know I have much much more to learn yet. Thanks for checking out my profile and photos, all comments and constructive critiques are welcome.
