I've been interested in photography ever since I was a kid, during the 1950s.

I processed my own B&W photos during the 1960s & again during the 1980s

I've bought, used & sold numerous different cameras over the years, including large & medium format plus 35mm film cameras, as well as dedicated digital cameras & the now ubiquitous smartphones.

From high tech to low tech.

I made, used & then sold a large format pinhole camera.

I used flickr for a number of years before it was sold.

I stopped using Flickr when the 1,000 free limit was introduced.

I was unhappy about having to download hundreds of photos that exceeded the limit.

I have started using flickr again, subscribed so that I can share family photos privately & share more of my photos with other photographers.

I live in a region called Nouvelle-Aquitaine, on the edge of the Massif Central, a highland region in south-central France consisting of mountains and plateaus.

It's this amateur photographer's favourite playground.
