Steve is genuinely a good, sweet person, and that comes across in his work. Actually, he’s one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Not only Steve has an eye for strong technical skills, but he has the ability to capture the inherent beauty of his subjects. His dog photographs speak for themselves. He is consistently supportive, attentive and generous and is the type of contact that everyone dreams of having. I admire Steve so much - not only as a marvellous Flickr friend, but as an outstanding photographer, a champion of good causes, and a kind and caring human being. His superb portraits of shelter dogs capture the spirit and beauty of these unwanted waifs and raise awareness of their plight more effectively, in my opinion, than a campaign of words ever could. The silent appeal of a powerful image can be a great motivator, and Steve must take some credit for the fact that his subjects find good homes.
