This is the official Flickr account for the Boston Landmarks Commission (BLC) and the City of Boston Archaeology Program.

The BLC was established in 1975 as the municipal preservation agency for Boston's historic buildings and places.

The City Archaeology Program was founded in 1983 to protect and promote Boston’s irreplaceable archaeological resources.
